just out curiousity... are you conducting some type of experiment to see how much work you can get others to do for you by posting messages on forums?

I'd say chances are slim. Why not try gamefaqs or some other place with a high concentration of people interested in this game?

I've tryed www.zfgc.com also (Zelda Fan Game Central) and they didn't react on it. I think if i don't get an awnser i go the n64 emulation scene to try and if that won't give me the information i need i willw rite a letter to nintendo for information :)

Oh dear. Don't waste your energy. Get an engine running with your own save format first, then write your converter when (if) you ever get that far. Don't get yourself stuck so early on stupid little things like this. (Get yourself stuck later on the actual difficult and complicated engine implementation)

i think it is important because my engine load first a save file and then start initing like the save file :)

Don't you understand yet? The fact that you would even write a letter to Nintendo asking them about their classified information must mean you don't. Save yourself from making a bad decision, and do something original. Copy the mechanics if you must, but don't copy the "game" or the franchise. Copying the mechanics doesn't require any code produced in the original game, just your imagination of how it works. You could have all the necessary data in a save file, and it doesn't have to be in the same order as any other game.

So make a game. Don't copy a game.
