DS Misc > Good DS webbrowser that uses the exp pak...?

#166880 - 11X_daemon_X11 - Sat Feb 21, 2009 11:55 pm

I just got an R4 and 3 in 1 after my GnM fried my DS (thank god nintendo sent me a new one :p), and was wondering if there were any browsers that used the 3 in 1 exp pak that work? I tried using that BS DS Browser, always says I need to get the browser exp pak, even though I patched it with an R4 3 in 1 patch to make it work. So, are there any that work out there?

Reminder: This isn't p*****h****n or g**t**p, so talking about patching warez is not welcome here.
As far as I know, there are no decent homebrew web browsers. There is lynx on DSLINUX or DSOrganize's browser, and not much else. Neither of those is as good as Netscape 1.0.

Bunjalloo doesn't use external RAM but is definitely worth a look. DSLinux does use slot-2 RAM, and its Retawq and Links web browsers are very functional though you do have to remember a lot of keyboard hotkeys in order to use them.

I use bunjalloo, but I dislike it because of the lack of exp usage, and DSLinux isn't compatible with my router =\

Do you know for a fact that DSLinux is incompatible with your router? Did you follow these instructions? The second suggestion, explicitly setting the channel of my router in /etc/rc.conf is what got it working for me, prior to that I could not make a connection.

I've even talked to sonny, he gave me suggestions, my router is incompatible.
