DS Misc > problem running snesDS game

#51199 - crudhacker - Wed Aug 17, 2005 4:03 am

Ok, I'm having trouble on loading Super Metroid on my DS. Using snesDS I create and load it with the only option SRAM and crashes at intro. Tried soundless version and got a bit farther but then at a certain point the screen went black. Can some one help so I can at least play the game? By the way I use a EZ flashadvance 256mb flash cart and upload by wifime.

Thanks for your help

Official tech support forum for SNES DS seems to be on Pocket Heaven.

Seems to work fine last time I tried it in the most current version, with sound and everything.

I just loaded it onto the flashcart...are you sure you have the most current version? That sounds like the bug Super Metroid had a few revisions ago.

does the builder find any special options for super metroid other than sram? is there an asterisk before it in the rom list?

90% of the time people have this problem, it's because their rom has a bad header, and the builder doesn't automatically find the special options in the superdat that it's meant to. try getting a new rom, preferably one that comes with a bunch of junk at the end like (UE) (!).

Well the only option selected is SRAM. Everything else isn't used.
