Hello,

Could everyone (that wants to) please submit this form, to see if we can find a way to tell how far/wide the new DS firmware is, and if there is a way to tell if a DS has the new firmware or not.

Thanks.

Well that's weird...I'm the only one from New York, so it must be me...I put Both as the answer to PassMe/WiFiMe question, and it put me down as using the Magic Key. :P

It's currently a manual system.. so it takes some time to update.. Did the SN match the one you provided? As there are two NY's listed now.

Has anyone in the US gotten a black DS from the Nintendo World store yet? If so, can you log your results on the NDS tracker?

They will almost certainly contain the new firmware, even recent silver DSes contain it.

Anything manufactured after some (as-yet unknown) date have the new-style firmware, however there is now a flashme for the new firmware, so you can order a DS and get a passme2 tailored for a game you own for a one-shot use.
