DS Misc > Supercard API for Homebrew Developers

#57945 - Dudu.exe - Wed Oct 19, 2005 2:06 pm

I was talking with Romman ( Supercard creator ) on MSN about the Moonshell edited to work on supercard ( http://www.supercard.cn/eng/bbs/view.asp?mode=viewtopic&topicID=186&forumID=1&catID=1 ), when i Aked if they whould do a version os Scummvm DS too he says: " we will release a API to Homebrew dev. "

I guess it will be great to increase the compatibility with all homebrews...

whould be great for homebrews like DSLinux and Scummvm to read/write to cf directly!

Really good news !

Let's hope he thinks about SDRam read/write access as well, and we get a 36MB ram device - ready to run a completely free software pda environment !

Hopefully it can be included in chishm's FAT library, making it so one library will support gbamp, m3, and supercard, with no extra work on the part of the author of the homebrew!
