DS Misc > Darkain on American Sk8land?

#60532 - inthearmsofsleep - Fri Nov 11, 2005 2:07 pm

I was just looking around at nintendowifi.com, and in the Tony Hawk's American Sk8land section they have a list of players "online now"....one of them was darkain, another was stephen(tho i don't think it's sgstair...maybe). How is this possible?

I can't, because i've scoured the internet for a (rom) of it and there's none to be found. Doesn't each one also have it's own special code? or is that a code you make up yourself for all games?

Your friend code is based partly on the cart, partly on your console.

From pictures on his site, he also has a manual.

Hm, well someone must have a pre-release copy (is this just an official copy of the game given out early? if that's the case it probably has a manual) since Loopy was able to fix up FlashMe pretty quick. Heh, and really, I wouldn't mind messing with it...although I doubt it would work well with my slow internet connection.

But thats at least 3 hours away! Not to mention the 9 hours I'll have to wait until the store opens up!

#60737 - Habeeb1000 - Mon Nov 14, 2005 6:39 am

Though it's possible some stores may have it Monday, but most will probably not. The game ships Monday meaning the earliest stores will have it is the following day, Tuesday. For all I know, Nintendo shipped them early, but I doubt it. I've worked for GameStop for over four years, and this is the way it is for most games. Hope for it Monday, but be prepared to wait.

Exactly! I've even talked with a few stores in my area who won't be getting it in until Wednesday or Thursday.

I picked up my copy at Microplay on Monday. And I'm in Canada. We're supposed to get things a week later than everyone else.. I suppose this game is over-hyped to the point of dealers wanting to sell it sooner, rather than later.

How is it? I've been wondering if it's more worth it than mariokart.
