I got the newest moonshell, and for some reason, the song will occasionally stop and moonshell freezes for a couple seconds, and then it starts playing again, is it cuz its overheating or something?

This should be posted in the stickied Moonshell thread.
It's probably a flaw in Moonshell, and I doubt that it's overheating. You can find that out yourself, though; on the date and time window, there is also the temperature as recorded by a thermometer in the DS (not sure where, though)...
What kind of audio file are you running? Compression? Length?
