DS Misc > what?, a nintendo ds language translator?. i think so :D

thats right,
nintendo is releasing a translator games,

called simple "finger pointing" lol,
they range in langauges (i focused on english :P)

but this is Really cool to know,
how far nintendo can go with the ds and posible ideas :)

lets see,
unconventional list:
-Brain Age- first game focused on brain training
-Opera
-Finger Pointing-first nintendo licenced transltor
-Nintendogs
-Electroplankton(HELL yes its unconventional :P)

Doesn't PSP get away with first browser, or was that a homebrew effort? (Thus not counting as the same sort of achievement... though it should).


Looks a bit weird...
So, is it for learning languages, or using them? (A travel dictionary type thing?)


I remember the GBA had a title for Japanese people learning to speak English... apparently worked quite well.

Nintendogs is unconventional :P
Not the concept of virtual dogs, but all the little details. For example, the NDS is the first system where developers make constant use of the microphone as an input device. Since it is already there anyway, they can just pull off all sorts of things that normally wouldn't justify adding a mic for (such as inflating balloons and blowing bubbles).
