When you turn the DS on the light is green...How might i change this to say blue? do i go out and buy a light or somthing? explaine.

Yep, you can change the LED.
Apparently, that one is tricky to change compared to the battery charging light, but it is possible.
Though... In my opinion, it's not worth the risk.

Lol, I didn't mean to write that you "need to" change the LED.

In the brightness test i saw some video with a ice blue led light on it, looked awsome.

You can send your ds in and have the LED changed professionaly installed. Here is a site with instructions on how to install the LEDs yourself.

warning...the aheadgames guy has really really really horrible service...
also, the leds from dslite is different from the 2 prong big leds. they are super tiny surface mount, so get some practice before you desicde to lay the burning hot iron on the ds lite
