Would it be possible in any way to edit or make your own arenas? Like how would someone get started.

i heard of someone making a map-editor for the demo game a looong looong time ago, but I can'tseem find it anymore.

so i guess it might be possible

yeah, and I'm still wondering how he did that.. I still have the video and all, so cool

but I don't think a level -editor- is possible.. a viewer, yes, but an editor?.. I hardly doubt it, but I would like to be proven wrong ;]

I think he just used a passthrough.

As for level editing, anything is possible. Just difficult.

Well, I'm sure you could do text. Haven't looked at it much, but the game does contain files with the game's script in them in like five different langauges (a file per language).

The ARM9 binary in the demo version (First Hunt) is stored uncompressed. It contains all text strings seen in the game. If you can manage to load official NDS files, even without patching to read from the GBA slot (just keep the original inserted) then it is a trivial exercise to change the text.
