DS Misc > Wairo Ware Twisted as rumblepack?

#87318 - IxthusTiger - Tue Jun 13, 2006 9:19 am

The Table Tennis Demo from last year somehow uses Wario Ware Twisted as a rumble pack... does it also work with Metroid Prime Pinball etc? Is there code for using the rumble/motion sensor in homebrew?

More like a Gyroscopic sensor. It can tell if you're rotating it, whether it's your body holding the GBA as you spin, or rotating the GBA.

Indeed, it use's Piso-electric sensors (not sure of spelling).
Actualy, its the exact same sensors the PS3 "Dual-non-shock" is using.
(only thats uses 3 at 90degrees to eachother).

Its also extreamly like both the Wii-mote and the nunchuck also have 3 of the sensors in them. They are light, small, cheap and quite accurate.
The difference of course, is the Wiimote also has a kinda camera for tri-positioning.

Table TENNIS demo?

Don't you mean Table Hockey?

I'm not aware for a table tennis demo. I'd be able to test forthe metroid pimball rumble pack as i have it, but i can't find information on that table tennis.

BTW, unless there's a hidden option to turn it on, on the Table Hockey demo, it doesn't work (the metroid rumble pack that is).

Confusion arises from Magnavox's Odyssey and Atari's knockoff PONG, which were marketed as table tennis simulators, but they actually simulated table hockey.

Wow, I was wondering why everyone wanted WarioWare Twisted. I might get a copy for my self when it comes out here.

The rumble is only very very subtle, but it makes a brillent game that much better.
(it just "feels" right)
