Hi guys,
Got a question, im now having a nintendo wii.
Do you guys think think it possible to control my ds with the wiimote?
Lets say i place my ds on the table, and i can play with a wireless wiimote on my ds, because the wiimote is playing very nice on the virtual console?
Hope it is possible..
Greetings,
Chris

The DS does not have blue tooth, which is the method used by the wiimote. So, nope, your out of luck.

I saw a video *somewhere* of using DSerial + BlueTooth adapter + Wii-remote to do what you want.
I have no idea where I saw it, but the remote was working nicely

It would also be possible to connect wii-mote to PC using bluetooth, use a program to send the wii-mote info to the DS over wifi...

With how much lag, and how much power consumed by the PC running the proxy?

Yes although technically possible, it wouldn't have much practical use, through that method.

How practical would it be with any method? The farther you are from the DS, the smaller the screens appear. What's the point?

I rather think the question on power is moot. Unless I'm taking you too literally in thinking you mean watts...
Anyway, take a look at DS2Key, its relatively lag-less, no?
