Another weather forecast tool for the DS. This one looks very slick. Nice graphics, weather map, there's even music!

Download (DLDI patch needed)
However, I prefer DSLW. It's faster and that's all that matters.

If you're in the US, you can enter a ZIP Code into the country weather code and it'll work. :P (in celsius of course :D)

It only shows in degrees Celsius? It looks like a nice app, but if it only displays in degrees Celsius...well, I don't need to know the weather anyways but yeah, an option to change that would be good, and it has a nice interface already. I don't know if it has this or not since I haven't downloaded it yet.

Finally somebody makes a weather app for the DS with a logical and attractive interface...

Lick's gonna send some space pirate ninja after you...
But I'm not able to run the app on my M3 Perfect microSD... or at least not through Moonshell. :P

DS Weather Report v0.4 is now available on my devblog. Map update is now much more faster thanks to a cache on a server: 1 min if data is not cached, else only about 2 seconds :)

@stravingo
Excellent app.
Request/Question-
More and more countries/continents will be added as this app sees more updates, right? BTW Why the map stays the same but more countries/cities are now added? i.e. not asia, africa, america, south america
I mean, will it be possible to navigate the map to go to asia or any other continent rather than just europe.
Thanks anyways for such an awesome app.

Yes Khan, I plan to add a much larger map covering the whole world, as well as many other enhancements ;)
Version 0.5 is already available on my devblog. Here is the changelog:
- Bugfix: pressing Y for help made the app freeze. It is now corrected.
- Updating data with button X was no longer necessary as data is automatically downloaded when switching for the first time between names/icons/temperatures with button A. So, this function has been disabled.
- Button X is now used to switch between metric units and english units. Yes, you can now have temperatures in Fahrenheit, distances in miles, speeds in mph, etc.
- To accentuate the look of a weather channel, scrolling news headlines are displayed at the bottom of the lower screen. These headlines are live RSS coming from various sources: BBC.co.uk, Meteo-world.com, GameSpot.com, PAlib.info, etc. A total of 10 RSS are available, but other will be added. You can switch RSS stream by pressing with the stylus on the scrolling headlines.

Still getting white screens of death on my M3 Perfect Lite... And I'm going on a trip in 3 days D: (Wednesday morning, EST)

Though the map only shows Europe and part of Asia and the top of Africa, it's still an awesome app (I typed in my US zip code and it worked great), plus the RSS reader scrolling thing is great, and the music is a nice touch. I really like this app (I don't like what it told me though, that this week is gonna be 100 degrees and I have band camp >.<)

Would it be better to put a [?F/?C] button in the corner of the touch screen, to make the switch easier to discover?

Great idea. Now all we need are Doppler radar, and possibly commercials ;-)
Right now, it does day/month. Any chance you could have it do month-day like in ISO 8601?

pretty neat...any chance of releasing the source code or making a more "western" friendly version? (ie. US maps, Degrees F...etc)
...what i'm REALLY waiting for is a weather homebrew app with a good doppler radar...
