man, every time I see those messengers like google, aim and msn appearing on the DS I really wonder if anyone will ever come around doing one for icq since this is the thing that normal german ppl usually use :(.

Anyway, nice work, I can't test it though since I don't have/want a yahoo account

Try using your ICQ number and password on an AIM program. It works for me in Pidgin for Windows XP and Puppy Linux.

EDIT: minor clarification of instruction

Have anyone had any problem login in?

If you do then please check the patching & if possible try other cards

tried on cyclo evo (auto dldi patch by the card) and on M3 perfect SD (with proper DLDI patch) : doesn't pass the "loading Please Wait . . ." screen
I've setup my wifi connection correctly with an original game and Beup Live works with it

Yeah... you may be right, but:

a) the Aim Client for DS wasn't THAT stable last time I used it
b) it wasn't specifically made for ICQ, therefore it lacks many basic features like adding a not known contact and viewing profiles
c) what if Aim decides to part ICQ/Aim servers ? Wouldn't I be screwed then ?

I would love to try this out can you provide a new download link or was it taken down because of a bug in the software?

EDIT: nvm i found the download and put it on my G6 it gets stuck at the "Loading Please Wait..." screen you need to incorporate DLDI into your application or a lot of people won't be able to use it.

I believe it was taken down since it simply didn't work.
