Is there a way to force the voltage of the linkport to 5V??
Cheers,

An adapter is to lower the voltage,
i don't know the english word for it, something like transformer.
But it's the opposite of an adpter and makes the voltage higher.

yeah i know what you mean -> a dc/dc convertor
What i meant was if it could be done within the software. I read that the port is 5V when a GBC cart is inserted and 3.3V when a GBA cart is inserted. So i was wondering if there was a register that if you set some value the port will be 5V like the gbc cart. Something like that.
The dc/dc convertor is an option too, but i haven't found one yet in the netherlands(haven't done extensive searching i must admit).
Thx for your reply m8.
cheers,

No, you can't set the serial port voltage in software. The hard switches in the GBA's cartridge port set the voltage used by the entire device (cart bus, link port, the whole lot) all at once and can't be overridden.

use an opto isolator, i.e. the gba flashes the led, the led turns on a photo transistor, the transistor switches 5 volts.
