You'll need two: one USB Wi-Fi adapter and one USB memory card with a bootable Linux distribution.

Perhaps I misread it, but it seems to me the tutorial says that USB dongles of a specific chipset aren't compatible.

Quote:
PCI or PCMCIA wireless network card with the RT2500 or RT2560 chipset (complete list here)
NOTE: USB version (RT2570) will not work

Perhaps I was mistaken.

The USB version works with Linux but not with Microsoft Windows, which is why I recommended buying a USB memory card and loading Linux onto it.

Tepples, you think suggesting Linux will solve the problem? ;)

I'm suggesting that Linux will help solve the problem with hosting DS Download Play using a USB Wi-Fi adapter with a Ralink chipset. FireFly's Windows driver for PCI and PC Card Wi-Fi adapters is proprietary, so it's not possible to adapt it for use with USB Wi-Fi adapters.
