Hardware > Corrupt RAM? (Flash 64mbit)

#6675 - itoddler - Sun Jun 01, 2003 8:50 pm

I can write to the ram, I can read from the ram. But when I turn the game boy off for more than a few seconds, all data in RAM is lost. Does anyone know if this is fixable?

Mods: sorry about my previous post.

How old is the cart?
Sounds like a empty lithium cell to me.

I forgot to mention that I already tried replacing the battery.

Um... the *RAM* isn't battery-backed at all. Of course everything you write to it is going to be lost if you turn off the power...

If you really meant the SRAM... well, I don't know then.

I meant the SRAM.
