Came up with this simple approach a while ago, take the coaxial antenna from the DS and solder it to the coaxial antenna of an AP, would it work? I know its a little impractical but in theory it looks like it could get rid of the interference that wireless has trouble with.

you're trying to add an external antenna to the DS? or you're trying to physically bridge a radio connection?

Physically bridge

No, wiring the Antenna's together wont work and may even damage the radio modules in either or both devices, im concidering another approach, using ENC28J60 chip made by microchip, it's full ethernet and has an SPI interface for comunication, so does NDS and GBA
