Hardware > GBA games in an older gameboy?

Hey everyone, ive got an unmodded GBA, i grew up playing with my friends original Gameboy, then GB pocket, Gameboy Colour (clear purple ) and finally got my own GBA, the non flip screenv ersion

just wondering for fun, is there a way to convert an older gameboy, like gameboy pocket to run GBA games?

Simple answer: no.

Longer answer: you could theoretically take most/all of the guts out of your old gameboy, and replace it with guts of a new gba. But to make the form factors match, it'd be non-trivial to get it all put together.
