Its been a couple months since this webite has been updated :

SO I decited to take it to the GBAdev forums. I've been printing these codes out on diffrent papers, diffrent size margins*, at diffrents speed, ect. and I can get it to work rarely. I want to know what the discoveries of other are, about scanning homemade dot codes. Hopefully we can discover a more efficeint way to print and scan these.

* Margins - The space between the border of the paper(e-reader card) to the bar code itself.
