Hardware > can some one point me in the rite direction

I want to start to learn how to build electronic devices like pdas and maybe eventually something like a gba or something. Can some one point me to where I can start learning how to build that type stuff.

Or you could just jump right into building televisions and shit, and skip making easy things like pda's. Hell, I made some pda's in my bedroom last week, piece of cake...
