Hardware > Booting homebrew code with a gameshark?

#35534 - DooBeDoo - Sun Feb 06, 2005 4:41 pm

Hi,

I've had a GBA Gameshark for a looong time now, and wondered if it's somehow possible to use it to boot homebrew code on the gba using the device?

If not, are there any software alternatives out there which I could use to hack GBA games using the shark?

Thanks.

I've managed to write a program that can reflash the gameshark - however, you still need something like a MBV2-cable to run the code that does the flashing.

Nice

Are there any alternative ways of reflashing or running code via USB (i'm sure the Gameshark software allows firmware upgrades via usb so maybe there's a possibility)?
