I've just gone and dropped my GBA SP, does anyone know where I can get a replacement LCD (in UK) that won't cost the earth!

I know, but I was hoping to spend ?10 or ?15 on an LCD rather than ?45, ?50. It's just the student in me.....

How do you know you need a new lcd?
Is it because it's visibly damaged?
Is it just because it stays blank?
Is it just scratched? (In which case its not the screen you need to replace).

It is visibly damaged, it still boots OK but half the screen has nice black liquid over it...

a screen alone might be a lot more expensive than the GBA itself. Maybe you can get a normal GBA somewhere cheap and use its display =)

No, the GBA and GBA SP have different LCDs. I am looking for a GBA SP that has a different fault and then I can make 2 into 1.

How much to send it into Nintendo and see what they will do about it/how much it will cost? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be too much. It's not going to cost and arm and a leg for them to put in a new screen for you.

About ?50, which means it's cheaper to buy a new one from ebay....
