Yes, hello. First time member here, need some help.
I have tried to use the rt2560 as directed in the tutorial, but I keep on getting this same error message whenever I try to install it. The Specified location does not contain information about your hardware
And I have looked at the bottom of the tutorial to see what it means, but I already have a WMP54G PCI card in my computer. Its not the newest, i'm not sure if its version 4, but shouldn't it still work?

Ok, I have just got PCItree to work, but I am having some problems with it. Can someone walk me through it? Thanks.

Try THIS tutorial as it explains everything clearly and with screenshots.
Go through it step by step and you shouldn encounter any probs.
report back in if it works or not

Well, I already tried using that walkthrough with my WMP54G PCI card, but it keeps on giving me this error message whenever I try to use it as a driver: The Specified location does not contain information about your hardware
Am I supposed to unzip the driver directly to the c:\windows\system32\drivers\ folder?

You most likely have the wrong version of the card, and it doesn't use the right chipset. Nothing you can do about that.

Yeah, I just realized I didn't have v.4 of the card. Oh well.
