Now that I have finished a C++ programming class, I want to move into GBA development, then maybe for DS.
Anyways, I only have a GBAMP for test equipment, so where should I start?

If you go into GBA, keep in mind that all binaries will need to be compiled for multiboot usage and must be under 256 KB or else the GBAMP will not be able to boot them. With the DS, using Chishm's hacked firmware, the limit raises to 4 MB.

Download DevkitPro (the compiler and toolchain for GBA and DS) and Visual Boy Advance (a good emulator to make your life easier when testing), then start reading TONC, the best tutorial.
It's a little rough if you don't have much programming experience, but read, try to do simple stuff based on the examples, and ask specific questions here if you get stuck.
Also, please read the Beginner's FAQ on this forum, which will answer some of the questions that we won't be as happy to answer :)
