Hey I was wondering again. I've been trying to get a gba game on my ds (via slot-2 device) and when i put it in the moemory and start it the NINTENDO sign looks more like a barcode( all garbled) and won't play is there any way to get it to say nintendo?

Does your file have a header?

Or maybe you would rather play with sand? Sandscape is for you in that case.

GBA programs have to have a special magical valid header on them. They run fine in emulators with non-valid headers, but when you play them in your gba, the logo won't be right without one (and when the logo isn't right, it won't play)

See the question:
Q: When I write several programs to a flash cart, how do I change their displayed names? in the Beginner's FAQ
