Coding > GBATEK is gone!

I tried loading the specs today and got a 404!

I hurriedly googled it up and saved their cached version of it, just in case it never appears again.

Anyone hear anything about this?

Dan.

His whole site seems to have been pulled by his provider. =)

I believe there was already a thread on this subject.

So for those who need it:

I would suggest people download that website to their computer. It's not like it changes constantly. I was shocked too. I used cowbite specs however I like gbatek a lot better.

How do you download a complete website to a computer? I know you can save a web page, but not a whole site. Or am I behind the times?

There are a hojillion programs that can download a site and everything linked to it - wget can do it, and there are lots of windows 'web spider' programs that do it. gbatek is only one page anyway, though =)

Well well well, looks like I'm behind the times. :P

(At least I got my non-googled version of the specs...)

Thats the exact program I use for anything with multi page sites. However since this website is just a single page all you need to do is go to file>save as. Then save it where you want. This website doesn't require you to download picture either so it's straight text and can be done easily with a simple "save as"

Ok, I got it.
