Coding > Old fashioned monitor/disasm styled programm

#3692 - Jayce - Wed Mar 05, 2003 11:24 am

I was wondering if there's a good'ol fashioned Monitor styled Win32/Dos application to disasm/debug GBA rom files?

Just like there was for SNES and GB, you could load in the rom file and stepped trough it, change a few bytes and save it again.

(sorta like HIEW for i386 code does)

yes i know, i'am oldschool can't help it my brain is stuck in the early 90's ;)

I dont know if this applies but you can disassemble a rom in the tools tab of VisualBoy Advance, a emulator.

tried that, but it only allows me to see the code not altering it. I like to fiddle around with parameters etc.

i seems that tools like that don't excist anymore :(
