Coding > HAM v2.71 and bgmode 0 probs

#4850 - excessus - Sat Apr 12, 2003 11:21 am

ok while i'm waiting for this bug to be fixed I'll ask for you guys a way to go around this problem:
I use bg mode 0, map is sized 32x64 tiles. Map intializes and shows up fine but the problems come when I try to change tile gfx below 32x32 tiles (for example tile 13,54 needs to be changed). When I try to change tile above (ie lower half of the map) that 32 number magic limit it wraps around to upper bg layer and ends up on the upper 32x32 half, scrambled of course. So how could I go around this? What I need is to change some tile gfx one by one (i'm too lazy to create different tilemaps which would replace the original). It should be reasonable fast way too.

thanks in advance
