Derek Evans has released a new version of the great Yeti3D engine:

Includes the latest feature set including MD2 rendering, coloured lights,
sloped floors and ceiling, sky lighting, editable corner offsets, 128x128
textures, MIP mapping & Gregs (Torlus) ARM texture mapper.

The Yeti3D site includes the GPL'ed v1 source and a OpenGL v2 demo.

Whoa, that's really impressive. A little dark on a real GBA, but the framerate is still high enough to be playable. The outdoor place looks great though. Can't wait to have something around to actually shoot at^_^

Any sound running in the demo - as that will take up 15-30% of CPU in a normal game...

Its great, really amazed me,,, but I can't think of any game for it wich wouldt be anything more then an exuse to showoff this engine...

That's a professional-quality game you've got there! Man, even with a computer that only gets 30fps at 9 frameskips, i can see that. How long until we see "Doom GBA" in stores?
