C/C++ > A little help please...

#2374 - CpuWhiz105 - Sun Feb 02, 2003 7:00 pm

I want to make a RPG for the GBA... sorta like Golden Sun. It's should have good graphics, sound, and saving abilities. Maybe a multiplayer thing. For a game like this, what tools should I use and is there any tutorials and documents that could help point me in the right direction.

Please respond, and thanx.

Hmm how about 50 programmers, musicians, artists and designers? :P

Nah joking. The answer really is that you have to be able to program, use a compiler and linker (Devkit Advance), have experience with embedded environments (GBA hardware), draw excellent computer graphics (Photoshop, PaintShopPro etc), create beautiful scores of music (Instruments), and be creative enough to develop a great storyline. Oh and a couple of decades to do something that took teams of professionals a long time to do. :P

And the thing is, it would be rare to find someone with all of those qualifications at the same time (Programming (Graphics, Ai, Music, etc) and know how to draw impressive Graphics and create interesting music.

For the programming part, there's some goods one...
