Wow, thanks! Are there any real differences? And what is the difference between DevKitArm and GCC compiled with an ARM target option?

The devkitARM package includes "specs" (crt0 and linker script combinations) for several popular ARM7/ARM9 based gaming platforms such as GP32, GBA, and soon the ARM CPU in the Dreamcast. You will have to tell the linker which specs to use.

It will also probably be the first compatible devkit available for the Nintendo DS.
