ASM > ASM on Mac OS X

#5287 - dusk - Thu Apr 24, 2003 4:34 pm

Hi!

I'm quite new on GBA programming an on Mac as well. Is anybody programming ASM on Mac and knows hows what compiler I can use there, it can be on OS X or OS 9.

By the way, anybody knows how to use C++ for the GBA on a Mac, the gcc i found for Mac seems to be only working for C.

thanks,

dusk.

I do all my agb programming on Mac OS X. I'm using the gcc compiler from http://gnufoo.org/gbasdk (if you are having trouble downloading it from there try my "unofficial" and rather shameless mirror at http://www.pokewhat.com/touchstone/files/GBASDK0.5.0.dmg) No C++ support but indeed assembler, as requested. :)

OK, thanks

I'll try that one, however C++ would be nice as well.

All,

just for your information, I have just uploaded on my web site a fresh package (including GNU C/C++ and Java compilers) to do GBA programming on Mac OS X. For my own, I have the C compilers working and tested, the C++ compiler should be ok, but not heavily tested.

You can find my web site at : http://velvetfr.ath.cx and the package can be found under the GBA Tools section
