Graphics > Animated background

I want to have a moving background. like a gif file or several pcx files, what ever.
But I am absolutely clueless on what to do. Any help would do.

This is for a school project so i really need the help.

this page is good to begin... check tutorial 3 for the backgrounds after reading 1 & 2, all you need to do is write a routine that switches between frames...

okay, so you mean like this (pseudo-code):
draw background picture1,
draw background picture2,
draw background picture3... and so on, and then loop it?

Yes, that's the idea. First get that working, and then we'll show you how to explore more sophisticated ways of animating a background.
